In just over two years at Mike Knight Motors, we have delivered more than 600 used cars, trucks, and SUV's in the Waco, Texas Kingdom. When I decided to venture into this pre-owned market, I wasn't exactly sure how it would turn out. I had spent more than 30 years on the new car side, all in the Central Texas area. But I have enjoyed my decision many times over. This area needed a used car dealership without all the hype, without all the things you expect from what we call "Used Car Dragons."

It started with just me, my son, one make-ready specialist, and about 20 vehicles in our inventory. Since those days we have added an office manager/title specialist, and a second make-ready specialist, and now we usually have from 40-60 used cars, trucks, and SUV's in our Kingdom. That's still a small operation in comparison to other local dealerships. But we compete with them in total monthly sales, and beat most of them, because of the way we do business. Our system is unique to our industry here in the Waco area. I decided that we would only sell vehicles that not only had appearance, but also mechanical stability. Then I topped it off with a free warranty on every vehicle we sell. It's my goal that you have the self-satisfaction of knowing that you're buying a car that's also a good investment.

Also, we developed relationships with local, best-in-class repair shops where we have our inventory checked out before we sell them. And because they are familiar with our warranty, you can take your vehicle there after the purchase. Sometimes repair problems happen and our customers deserve to be take care of in a professional and timely manner. We have also, developed relationships with local experts to enhance the exterior of our vehicles. We call them our "Round Table" they enhance both exteriors and interiors to produce a finished product that we, and you, can be proud of.
